Then, head to the Garden Route to explore Oudtshoorn, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, and Hermanus. Start with 3 days in and around Cape Town, offering a blend of iconic landscapes, vibrant city life, and rich cultural heritage. Begin with a journey up Table Mountain, where panoramic views reveal the breathtaking scenery of Cape Town and its coastlines. From there, head to the bustling Green Market Square in the heart of the city, where you can shop for unique local crafts and art. Day two takes you to the Cape Winelands and historic Stellenbosch, renowned for its world-class wines, charming vineyards, and Cape Dutch architecture. Savor wine tastings and learn about South Africa’s winemaking traditions. On the third day, set out to Inverdoorn Game Reserve for an unforgettable safari experience, where you’ll encounter the Big Five and other remarkable wildlife species, offering a true African safari adventure within reach of Cape Town. Continue on to the Garden Route, combining incredible landscapes, wildlife encounters, and cultural experiences. Begin with a drive on the world's longest wine route to Oudtshoorn, famous for its ostrich farms and the spectacular Cango Caves, where ancient rock formations reveal the wonders of subterranean South Africa. On day 5, continue on to Botlierskop Game Reserve for an exciting safari where you’ll encounter native wildlife, followed by a visit to the iconic Knysna Heads, with breathtaking views over the lagoon. Visit the Knysna Lagoon where you can experience the sunset boat cruise, own expense. On day six, explore the coastal beauty of Robberg Nature Reserve near Plettenberg Bay, offering hiking trails with scenic ocean views and opportunities to spot seals. Also visit the beaches and do a tour of Plettenberg Bay. Visit Bloukrans Bridge for the world’s highest bungy jump, 216m, own expense. Day seven takes you to the southernmost tip of Africa at Cape Agulhas, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, and then to Hermanus, renowned for whale watching (in season). Day eight starts with a tour of Hermanus. This is followed by a visit to a wine-tasting experience at Benguela Cove Wine Estate, enjoying some of South Africa’s finest wines. This is followed by a visit to the African penguin colony at Betty’s Bay, where hundreds of penguins waddle along the coastline.
